Panic attacks and Jehovahs Witness!

i know of many jw women and a few men who suffered badly with panic attacks.
since recently having another spate of panic attacks i suddenly realised that i had been having them all my life.

The nighmare Armegeddon images they present to children, the original Paradise Lost Book , with a picture of a small boy falling down a hole with his dog at Armegeddon, how could you not suffer anxiety attacks with those type of childhood memories. At our Kingdom Hall too, some of the parents would take children downstairs for creating any disturbance during the meetings and wail the day lights out of them, the society would encourage them to do so constantly quoting the scripture about do not spare the rod. It was the GB who needed a darn good wacking.

My dad the elder use to go to the assemblies and paint this idealistic picture of how he raised his kids and our home life, knowing even admitting once that it was not true but he said that is what the circuit overseer wanted him to say, the picture they wanted painted for the assembly. Another case of theocratic strategy, i.e. lying.

Well for many on this board the devil is in the details. If you accept the Bible translation of Lucifer as not the Devil Satan but as an Angel that brings light, then Spangler is stating that we accept this light, a far cry from worshipping the Devil. But if he is saying that we should worship Lucifer even if he is just an Angel of light why would we worship such an Angel? At least not in any Christian belief system that I am aware of, and there are alot that I am not.

Add it to why Johnny can't read and blame both on the public school system. Many children who graduate from the public schools in Minneapolis cannot read. Why, because they don't teach phonics, just like math they keep changing the way the teach these important subjects, using confusing new systems that not even parents can understand, experimenting at the childrens expense. I know this is the joke section, but this is no joke.

How was Albert D. Schroeder (GB) able to raise his child at Bethel?
by Boxed elder bugs ini am just curious, maybe this topic has gotten covered before but when i was at bethel the policy was that nobody could have a child there, if you had children you had to leave?
so how was governing body member albert d. schroeder able to bypass those rules and raise his son judah there at bethel, judah was there when i was there and worked as a waiter and seemed like a nice kid but why the exception, don't bethel rules apply to everybody?
this is the only case i know of at any of the societies headquarters where someone was allowed to raise their child there and didn't have to leave.

by anewme ini just heard a brief report that the vatican has okd the use of condoms to prevent the spread of the hiv virus.
this is good news and a relief to many.
in light of the growing aids epidemic world wide this allowance is very compassionate on the part of the church.

I hate to be grim but maybe the ratio of African Catholics dieing of aids was outnumbering the number of added births in areas without condoms. That scripture in the Bible that says no condoms must be right next to the one that says no college, because I can't find either.
That picture of those guys and gal with condoms on their head in the Post above this, thats not the welcoming party for the new members of the GB is it.
